A Telegram marketing chatbot can send a promised resource, answer a common question with AI, open a useful page, or connect a visitor with a person.

You do not need to write code. Everything below can be set up with the @SUCH bot builder in Telegram: connect your bot and follow the prompts. Start with one welcome message and a few clear choices. Each choice can send an answer, link, photo, video, or file. Visitors can also write a normal message.

Useful jobs for a marketing chatbot

Marketing job What you add to the bot What the visitor receives
Deliver a resource A /guide command A link, file, or short explanation
Answer a common question A /pricing or /faq command A prepared answer and the next step
Answer flexible questions A SUCH AI support bot An answer based on the information you add
Open a useful page A bot menu button A form, booking page, help page, or product page
Receive questions An open chat A reply from you or your team
Send an update A broadcast A message after the visitor has started the bot

Start with one simple task

Start with one task. For example, a channel post offers a checklist, opens the bot, and /guide sends the file. Invite visitors to write a question afterward. Begin with three to five choices; expand only from recurring questions.

Create the bot without code in SUCH

1. Create the Telegram bot

Open @BotFather in Telegram and send /newbot. Choose a name and username. The username becomes part of the public bot link and cannot change later. Copy the private token and keep it private.

2. Connect the bot to SUCH

Open @SUCH in Telegram and send the token. SUCH connects the bot to your project. You can then manage it in app.such.chat.

3. Add the welcome message

In app.such.chat, select the bot, open Project Settings, choose Welcome message, write the message, and save it.

Write what the bot can help with, which commands to choose, and that people can write to your team.

4. Add commands for common requests

Send /set_command to your bot. Then send:

  1. the command, such as /guide
  2. the reply the bot should send
  3. a short description between 3 and 256 characters

Send - instead of a description if you do not want the command to appear in the bot menu.

The reply can include text, links, photos, videos, and files. Use commands for stable information such as a guide, price page, event schedule, or FAQ. Create them through SUCH, not BotFather.

Use AI for questions that do not fit a command

Commands are best when every visitor needs the same thing. AI helps when people ask the same question in different words.

In app.such.chat, open Project Settings and turn Bot AI on. In Bot AI Instructions, choose GPT-4o or GPT-4o-mini, select Support bot, and state the topics, tone, and next step.

In Bot Knowledge, add approved facts about your offer, event, or project in short, separate text blocks. Test real questions, then correct unclear answers.

An AI support bot replies in Closed chats. /human moves the chat to Open and notifies your team. An agent can open a chat manually; close it afterward to return to AI replies. AI replies use credits, so GPT-4o-mini is the lower-cost model.

Use your bot's public link on a website, email, or social post. Inside Telegram, use @your_bot_username. Send /share to @SUCH to see the available links. Say what people will receive, not only "open our bot."

6. Add a page to the bot menu

Send /menu_button to @SUCH, select the bot, choose Web app, enter the button name, and send the page URL. If the bot has custom commands, Telegram may show commands instead. Check the finished bot on a phone.

7. Add a button to a channel post

To add a button to a Telegram channel post, make @SUCH an administrator, send /channel_button, forward the post, and enter the button text and URL. Use a label such as Get the checklist. Channel buttons cannot be changed or removed after posting.

Let your team answer questions

Use a person for payments, complaints, refunds, and questions that depend on the visitor's situation. Create a private Telegram group, add the bot, send /team to @SUCH, connect the group, and add group members as agents in Manage Permissions.

Save common answers in Project Settings > Manage Quick Replies. During a chat, type # to insert one.

Send useful updates

SUCH PRO supports /broadcast messages to all bot users or a custom list. They reach only people who started the bot and have not blocked it, and cannot be edited or deleted after sending. Use them for requested updates or event reminders.

Test the full path before sharing

Use your phone to test the route a visitor will take:

  1. start the bot and read the welcome message;
  2. open every command and menu button;
  3. send a normal question and check that your team receives it;
  4. send /human if you use AI; and
  5. open any button you add to a channel post.

Fix unclear wording, broken links, and missing replies before you share the bot.

FAQ

Do I need AI for a marketing chatbot?

No. Use commands for known requests. Add AI when visitors ask useful questions in many different ways and you have clear information for the bot to use.

Do I need to write code?

No. You can create the bot with BotFather and set up its messages, commands, menu button, team, and broadcasts through SUCH.

Can the bot message people before they start it?

No. A person must start the bot before it can send them a message. Broadcasts also cannot reach people who blocked the bot.

What should I create first?

Create one welcome message, three to five commands, and one way to reach your team. Test every step on your phone before you share the bot.
